Pretty cool of Ivey to give that Prime guy money for the tourney. So who do we think has the edge here?

Can't see cards so mostly useless but so far, every time a large river bet has been made... it has gone uncalled...

anyone else notice both players rarely check raise the flop continuation bets?

I love that around the same time he was playing two tables of 50-100 with magicpitch and hassanslask.

against people that good, you dont want to be putting money in the pot with that bad a risk reward ratio whilst out of position. at least i think.

Playing a lot of tables isn't the same as winning at a lot of tables.

The amazing high stakes thing going on while you guys sweated Ivey/SR was nonedriver taking a 5k buyin into 100k stack while barely playing any big pots at all. Most amazing run I've ever seen.

Yeah ive just watched all that too, I couldnt understand what was going on? Was mahatma folding too much oop? And the 30k pot at the end, did you see that one eld? im struggling to think what noneedriver could have had.

Dr. StrangeloveX

I actually saw that but not the ivey-sr play because I don't have fulltilt. Either the most amazing run ever or tax evasion. No flames please, it just seems insane that that guy always had a hand.

No. I did not actually watch any. I just looked in and this guy had 100k stack, so I cruised back through hand histories and it was just a series of 5-10k wins for the most part, always running one pair top kicker against one pair worse kicker it seemed. Only big hand I saw was 20k pot where his JQ on 9Tx flop ran up against 8J (with flush draw) and his Q-high held up.

I cruised through a bunch of HHs when I saw his stack, looking for the crazy big pot. It never happened. Except for one crazy OESD v. OESD+FD where his Q-high held up for 20k, it seemed like he just had a ton of decent best hands v. decent second best hands that all went to showdown for medium-sized pots. I'm not sure what you're talking about wrt tax evasion - it didn't seem to me like that many pots were bet-fold hands, and he took 5k-15k off of a number of different players.

While I was watching there were almost no showdowns. Mahatma bets pot on turn gets miniraised, folds. Over and Over.

Speaking of not winning, SR just got hammered against Ivey. Down a good deal.

Hi, first time post.
I saw the whole game start to finish, including the UB drama (noneeriver). Prahlad bought in for 75K approx (various reloads and rebuys). Phil was doin his transfers from UB to FT. Was in a spot earlier but ended up down "only" 23k. Ivey quit without sayin a word after PF hit a 42K pot, just when he was coming back. PF still sittin with 53K at FT (two tbls). Ivey played well though, got good cards too. For the record PF sittin on 113.5 K on both UB and FT, down 6.5K for the evening so far, having bought in for 120K.
The interesting part of all this to me is, I have been observing Prahlad for a long time (in internet time) very closely (especially since Zweig 100/200 at prima), and last week he was on mega tilt a couple of sessions and didnt switch gears as he had a profitable last 5 days at UB. The night he lost that 117K pot on UB he still ended in a profit from tht dude mostly pickin bluffs with just ace high. But today he just switched gears against Ivey, i mean he just played different, less pot bets, less all ins , just knew he was up against a different animal. And that is the beauty of his play, he switches on you so fast you never know where is he at. I mean with him the cards take a backseat usually. Ivey cannot by any stretch say he had a walk in the park today. And in the end i know Phil probably had to go to the bellagio or what not, but i tell you Mahatma is relentless, still waiting at FT and UB (for Mike???), last man, as usual.

Yup, just saw that, Prahlad just left 5 min before he got on, must have stayed there for 2 and a half hours idle though. I so wanna see this (PF still at Bhipak though .... alone).
