I don't really know the metrics (I hate that word) for the other games very well, so I'm sure I'm making a mistake. I'm just being lazy is not reading the other forums until I know, but dammit, they don't have a great moderator like we do who stickies a FAQ.

Say you are a very good player with a $4k bankroll.

I think you are rolled for:

$55 STTs - profit about $10/hr/table give or take
$100nl - profit ?? 2BB/100 or something, like $2/hr/table
$5/$10 limit - profit ?? 1.5BB/100, like $15/hr/table

Something must be seriously wrong with the NL cash game numbers I have.

Anyway, thanks for any help. Sorry for the off topic-overdone post.

It all depends where you put your line for "very good..."

I'm pretty sure a very good 55s player makes more than $11 per.

I'm dead sure that a very good 100nl player makes more than $2 per, though I'm totally out of the loop on this so I can't remember what the number was. It's bigger than most think though.

A very good 5/10 player (10 handed) will make >2 per and a very good 6max player will make >3 per.

If we can get some confirmed numbers from anyone approaching an authority from those other forums, or if someone wants to just do a search, I'd throw this sort of thing in the FAQ since it seems to come up more frequently than you'd think.

i was making pretty close to $90/hr 4tabling the 100 max NL over a pretty good sample size about 14/hr was rakeback, and in terms of limit you arent getting 100 hands/hr so they dont directly correspond like that.

Do a search of the SSNL forum. I believe winrates of 5-8BB/100 are sustainable in the small NL cash games.

Yeah in NL the BB is so small you can do a lot better than 2BB/100. For $25.00 NL the BB is only 25 cents and with 100 BB stacks and people who have no problem losing their whole stack with TP/TK or worse....

That would make a big difference and probably put them all pretty close together, which would make sense.

Very good at NL is generally considered to be 8-10BB/100.

Got it. I was reading the mid-high stakes and was going by what some people were saying they could do at the high stakes, because there were still lots of fish. Of course high stakes fish aren't the same as low stakes fish and win rates should be much higher at lower buyins.

It's probably a big enough, efficient enough market that it's all pretty much the same.
