you know those words or phrases that are just over-used with your friends all the time because for one reason or another they sound funny? then the next thing you know its being used in every sentence or said every 5 minutes by one of your friends? well i have a lot of that going on right now.

the current words list:

immediately
meh (pronounced more like a mr. burn's muuuhh)
mukulah (no idea what this even means)
money

and several others that i don't care to remember at this time - any one else experiencing this currently?

"The classic blunder" means, specifically, to blow all of one's capital on hippos.

"Confirm that!" "Confirmed." "Confirm it again for full confirmation." "Confirm."

I know, retarded...

Also: SOMA (shi* on my as*hole), EAD, and "Choke me out, bitch" (Michael Hutchins-inspired)

You and your friends say that? .....sweet.

A lot of my friends will cite lines from Napoleon Dynamite. "You guys are retarded", "Gosh!" (These, of course, must be spoken with the proper Napoleon inflection) /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I'd post, but I'm sure it's gonna get deleted or get me banned for a week, so it's not really worth it.

My friends and I have been doing the "I don't even know her" gag for just about every word or phrase that ends in "-er" for about six years or so.

whenever my group of friends get together, we make a toast:

boat drinks.

It's tradition. It can't be stopped. Strangely, I'm ok with that.

My good friends and I have began every phone conversation for the past dozen years or so with the classic Scott Hall/Razor Ramon greeting (using fake/heavy Puerto Rican accent), "Hey yo." Also, everytime the number 5 is spoken (by anyone in the conversation), the other person must ask "what number was that again?", and the original respondent says (in King Kong Bundy voice) "FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVE" Even my wife does this now. There are many others, but these two are the most prominent (i.e., multiple daily occurrences). And yes, we are all in our 30's, married, and retarded.
