Don't know anything about the Yosh event. Yosh is the high limit host at the Bike and a very nice guy, but I know nothing about his tournament or satellite series.

As for the charity event, the house keeps the $100 as vig, and 10% of the buyin goes to the charity. So, you are paying 2700 to the prize pool, 300 to the charity, and 100 to the house. At least, that's what it was last year.

you would think the house has enough money that they dont need a cut of a charity event but hey whatever they make the rules.

Basically, the Bike has listed Yosh as the host for the Super Satellites, and there are supposed to be some "wild and crazy" aspects to these events. I don't know if that means a bevy of strippers giving lapdances ala The Hollywood Tropicana or if it's just "half-price on the Korean Galbi beef". It's kind of sad, but I think I'd prefer the latter.
