Generally speaking, I just check/call all the way down once the pot gets this huge unless I spike an ace. But I find myself in this situation all the time and it's not really addressed in any of the literature.

Fold the turn. AK is not a made hand.

Getting 22:1?

Normally this is sound advice, but look at the size of the pot on the turn! Even if you discount both your overcards to 1.5 outs, 17:1 is plenty to call. Fold the river for a single bet, most definitely for 2.

Correct. Fold the river though.
Even though I think some of your outs are partial. Reads are important too.

Fold the river. A high is winning this pot close to never.

The rest looks good.

Just in case, if BB had not capped preflop, I hope you weren't betting the flop.

I don't ever bet this flop. I treat AK as a drawing hand unless it's 3-way or heads up and I think both my opponents may have missed (In which case, I tend to be the aggressor).

I'd be tempted to call the river for a single bet because the pot is so huge, but since it was raised in front of you you should definitely fold on the river

Overused concept.

You might try a no-overcall play if it was checked to the button who bet, but otherwise, overcalling with A high is just throwing away 1BB, not to mention how many other players are calling.

I see 5 people have already put money into the pot on the river by the time it gets to you. Do you really think there is any chance you beat all of them?

If you're really paying off multiway pots often with UI overs, you need to start letting these hands go when there is obvious evidence you've lost on the river or not getting good odds on the flop/turn.

What read would you need to make this river call?

Opponents playing their cards face up would be a good start.
