I dunno. Minraise followed by push over my bet. Is folding here horrible? Villain had been playing fairly tight 3-handed (but it could have been bad cards). Do you like leading out on the flop or check/raising?

Folding may or may not be horrible. I would call. He could easily be pushing with overcards (AK) or he could have had some Ax and hit a pair on the flop, A7 and A8 he would easily be raising preflop. Any higher PP and maybe he hit a straight draw or flush draw. Either way, he has a large range of hands, and you beat half of them, have a strong draw to beating the other half (only the straight really has you dominated). You have a backdoor flush draw, that helps too.

Call.

I call this almost always; villain likely read your bet as an attempt to pick up the pot.

If villain is capable of trying to pushing you off a bluff I like betting out here. Heads up is a mind game though; it really depends alot on what's been going on.

How are you HU already at the 1/2 level? (That's jealosy, lately I've been seeing 6-8 people left at this level more times than not). I probably go broke here, I c/r the flop, and it looks like the pot/stack sizes make that c/r all in. It is rare I get away from TP when I am HU and there is not a 4 flush or 4 straight on the board. I think on this board you have to c/r or bet/call. Your bet looks weak and an aggressive player is going to jump all over it unless he knows you make this sort of bet with really strong hands, so you have to ask yourself whether you want to maximize your folding equity or maximize the chances this hand goes to showdown for all your chips.

I'd probabably C/R the flop, but nothing wrong with your line. Either way, my money is going in here unless the villian is ultra tight.
