I'm watching your table. Keep getting those blinds =).

I wonder why you raised more than usual with KK? 4x rather than 3x? Did you just want it to look more like a steal since you were OTB?

ummm, its a tad bit early. if all the people asked for a sweat with 43 people left this forum would go to hell.

I generally agree with this, but in 2000+ field, I can see being pretty excited about this. Still a ways from the good money though.

still sitting on 100K, thanks for the support! It is exciting in a field this big for those without a large bankroll

wow that was a nice play people_mover... im surprised u cold called his raise to 40,000... he represented a big pair (which you probably knew). And im wondering if this is the reason you pushed when the ace comes. Did you have the A or were looking for it to push with.

While it is exciting it is still way to early to be making posts like this. Just keep that in mind next time and good luck!

If you want any chance of grabbing decent money in this, you cant be afraid to put your chips in the middle.

Yeah I'm guessing -- at this point did you just decide to wait it out and see how many places you can gain?

If your bankroll needs the boost, fair play to you. Sometimes an extra hundred is a very nice thing =)

I was so card dead at the end. Q/3 was the best thing I saw. J/8 and I can't even begin to count the 6/3offs etc... it was tough having the monster stack to my left. Pkt 44 was the best I saw any pair, any ace any 2 painted, but nothing....so I went with it and unfortunately ran into aces. My best payout thus for though! 62x my money. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Its a nice score, especially for a small bankroll like you mentioned. However, if you ever want to make it to the top 3 or even top 5, you're going to have to push with a much looser range of hands before you get blinded down so low. That said, by waiting around you definitely moved up from a possible 10th finish to 7th? I think and probably made a few hundred dollars extra.

Yeah and the thing about that particular big stack is that he was raising/calling with some really bizarre hands -- so you really did kind of need to pick up something legitimate.

Oh well. Congrats! Tough luck running into rockets at the end there. Well done regardless.

The dude, ragsonrags, who was down to 9k with 10/20k blinds with like 14 left, has come back and is chipleader by a ways heads-up. Sometimes the cards just break your way -- sometimes they don't.

wow, I quit watching as I had to get up in 4 hours for work...the cards got me to the final table, but I just couldn't put my life on the line with Jx or Qx. Thanks for the sweat. /images/graemlins/grin.gif
