I'd like your opinions on my actions here. Been reading awhile, thought I would start to post some stuff.

Bet the flop, and get as many raises in as you can.

Raise and reraise the flop.
Call the turn and propably call the river.
For 1 bet with a set and 17.5 to 1 on your money I think it's worth it.

gah, I call one more bet. I'm not so worried about the all-in, but mp3 has been acting strong. still, I think he shows you JT/J9 or something goofy often enough for you to make this call.

I didn't c/r the flop, I was hoping to slowplay the set, then they went crazy. Didn't want to scare them off. May be a leak, but I wanted more bets on turn and river.

I would 3-bet the flop instead of calling.

That's not a leak, that's a sieve.

Hero folds.
MP2 showed [Kc As] and won ($15.75) with high card Ace
MP3 showed [Kh 6h] and lost with high card King

I stopped playing when the rotation ended, because I felt sick.</font>

Thanks for the brutal truth.

Don't raise preflop. You have a medium pair, and need to hit either a set, OSED, or all unders to continue on the flop. To get the correct price, I just call in that position, to get more money on the pot to make up for the odds of hitting a set.

On the flop, I'd bet. However, since you checked, I would have raised for value when it got back to me.

From there, I just call down after the turn card. At that point, the pot is really too huge to be folding a set. You will be up against something like two pair or TPTK at least a small portion of the time.

Marginal raise pf, I'd limp it.

Cap this flop if you like money. Slowplaying only works against people who aren't prepared to give you your money right away. You almost certainly have the best hand, and you have a growing number of outs if you don't.

Need to slow down the turn, but you cannot lay this down. 10 outs to a boat or quads, you are getting very much the right price to call it down, plus the fact you may still have the best hand (however slim that might be). Same applies to the river, there's just too much money to make a "big laydown"

Isn't there like 3 pages in SSHE about this? Making a big laydown when you aren't 100% sure you are beaten to save a bet, and it ends up costing you the pot almost certainly is going to cost you a crapload in the longrun due to tilt?

You can NOT fold this river imho.
