30 buy in downswing

I haven't downloaded it yet, but if it's any good, I suggest you sticky it for a little while, Citanul. Might help our forum deal with bad runs.

We can't know. It could be just bad luck or just bad play. Often it is a mix.

I take it you mean you're down 30, not that you've lost 30 in a row. In either case, it's hard to know. Chances are it's just bad luck, but being on a bad run can subtly affect the judgment of even the most disciplined player. You could think about taking a day or two off, even if you feel your discipline is still good. If nothing else, you'll be more likely to look forward to your next tourney afterwards.

Also, if you've been keeping good records, you might want to go back over the streak and look at some stats like VP$IP, aggression levels, etc. at various levels to try and spot some anomalies.

I've had 40 buyin downswings at the 33s (over I think about 200 SNGs), but I think a large part of that was me sucking ass.

I'm in the midst of a massive downswing myself, and while I'm getting unlucky, I'm also doing a fair amount of sucking ass.

Sure I had the best of it when I got called by A7 after pushing my 9BB stack through 5 people with 88. But Why the [censored] did I push a 9BB stack through 5 people with 88?

Uh not pushing 88 through 5 people with 9BB behind is a big mistake. Even if they all play very well (ie. they only call with 88+ and A9+) it is correct to push (and this is with even stacks). With uneven stacks it is a more clear push.
