Flop: (4.50 SB) 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif, T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, Hero calls, intending to raise a blank turn card, fold (?) to a bad one, and check behind on the river.

good, OK, or horrible?

Just dump this on the flop. Your equity is nowhere near good enough to justify (effectively) calling down.

Spot on.

The villian probably has at least a pair (in which case you're behind), or a draw with one or two overcards to the 7's (which would frequently make the villian a slight favorite).

Allright, so this was a bad time to showdown heads up (something im working on).

Let's make the board a little less draw heavy, say:

Flop: 5 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 6 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif 9 /images/graemlins/club.gif

Villain bets, Hero...?

Is this now the time to call the flop, reevaluate the turn, and raise as neccesary? Or do we just raise the flop?
