without reads on the players I would say most likely you are up against QQ

I'm usually pushing preflop.

it's pretty much a given i'm raising preflop. the blinds are too low and there's not enough money preflop to where pushing makes since.

would u also be raising AK/AQ? with those i can raise and push ANY flop w/ my stack size. But it gets tricky w/ JJ and smaller pairs. Because if i make a continuation bet, then i'm in too deep and gettin' very good odds to call a push, almost 3:1-- help!

wow, thats pretty accurate considering no reads, hell its accurate even with reads.

I would raise pf as well, you have to define your hand as no one has shown any strength yet...if BB pushes, i'd consider folding and then probably do so.

i was considering limp pushing, i woulda done it, had the preflop raise been bigger or smaller. The raise to 150 smells fishy, "I WANT A CALL" type of raise-- that's the only reason i didn't.

gigastack, i HATE playing out of position w/ betting impetus w/ a pair where an overcard will flop greater than 50% of the time.

With 20x bb and no danger of being blinded out? Why? My line would be raise preflop, raise the flop, pass if anyone shows any indication of having a hand.

OOP can be bad, but an over card can look just as scary to them as it does to you. I personally see JJ as a hand that is almost always ahead pf, and ill push that edge when I have it. You should be raising to get those limpers outta there.

This could be one of my leaks though.

The chips out there will increase your stack by like 20%, push it.

If you were the button I'd be behind a regular raise, but JJ OOP sucks. Hard. When the pot is a significant portion of your stack, you may as well get it in while the goods are good.
