You may get drawn out on the river by a flush or a set hitting a house, but you have the best hand. Why would you fold.

I wouldnt be scared of a 78 here, if he beat u this way then thats the way it ges. Id reckon the other players are scared of possible flushes hitting on the river.

I called, he beat me with a 78.

That's poker.

I think a flop bet would have chased him off with a only a gutter.

Fold the turn, only stay when you have the nuts, not second nuts.

If you're going to play this I c/r the flop, as it is more likely to give you a free turn

Flop bet is horrible into a multi-way pot. If you get raised you have to fold or invest a stupid amount of chips on a dumb hand, and if you get called you'll probably get blown off your hand on the turn. You actually played it exactly how I would. And I would call as quickly as possible.

Well played. Call the raise.

Check/call the flop if you are getting odds, fold to a lot of action.

Call the all in on the turn.

You're joking, right? (Your name is the joker, after all.)

Someone else bet the flop for you, and unless gutter-guy was the bettor, he had no business calling, so I doubt he'd have folded if you had bet.

I agree with other posters that betting out is awful here. I think you played it perfectly. And I call the push gleefully. (Then curse like a sailor, but as you say, that's poker.)

My bad, he actually has the third nuts. This is a definite fold then /images/graemlins/wink.gif
