Officially the year is not over statistically, until Midnight on December 31, when our final results of 2001 will be in black and white for all of us to ponder. Have you meet your objective or did you fall back into the abyss of mistakes that have been plaguing you for years? The fate of our statistics rest on the shoulders of our will to adhere to a strict set of winning guide lines. However, that will to succeed can be compromised by Ms Tilt, she's a life sucking wench from which there is no escape. How many times did she send your will to succeed to the trash? Leaving you with nothing but another statistical cleansing to record.
The Hold'em Wars have crossed the line of the second Millennium and soon year two will begin to take a stand in the never ending sea of statistics. Year two of the 21 Century and many of us are still struggling with the notion that Luck will save us from our own self destruction. When the going gets tough the tough get going, the rest of us just go on tilt.
How much better would our records be if just once, during every game we played, we didn't call the river bet when we knew we were beat. Would a walk around the casino have been enough to stop us from riding the tilt wave into the depths of the great abyss of mistakes. What are we going to do next year to stop the insanity of simple mistakes.
