It sucks its 3:30 here and they just passed an anti-power hour law starting august 1st, stating that you cannot be legally served in MN until 8 am.

Let me see if I understand this...you can't legally buy alcohol on your 21st birthday until 8 am on the day of your bday?

Yes...went into effect august 1st 2005. Kinda sucks...plus its sunday and liquor stores aren't open on sunday in MN

Yea it does suck...but I don't really know what this law has done...because what is stopping me from going out tonight and having the time of my life for my golden birthday.
