Yeah.

(Meaning I think it's fine. I also think you win here a whole bunch.)

People still limp reraise with [censored] in limit games?? A calldown is sufficient, get ready to lose

I cap preflop because limp rearaises generally mean GAMBOOL!1ol1.

We certainly have an equity edge against our opponents ranges, so the only reason why calling would be better is for pot manipulation or something. I don't think it overcomes your edge though.

Edit: Never mind. I didn't notice the limp-reraise.

Admittedly, I have not played $2/4 in a while but does a LRR generally mean gambool rather than AA/KK, especially from UTG/UTG+1. I mean when someone overlimps and then re-raised I am apt to think gambool a bit; but when they open limp UTG and LRR I tend to think it is much more likely that they have AA/KK.

There is no way I am capping this pre-flop.

Pre-flop fine.

While I don't love your overcard outs you are obviously calling the flop with your double belly buster draw (plus overcards for what they are worth here).

When you hit your Ace you have to call down although I expect you will see AA very often. I can't see any point to raising here on any post-flop street.

Well done.

this is well-conceived play and not "weak" for all of the reasons that colgin said and is the type of play that some of us, imho, overplay.

hmmmmmmm, now, who could that be? /images/graemlins/grin.gif
