Wow, this album is hot..... I thought this track with Adam Levine (schmo from Maroon 5) would be weak, but it's incredible. The track with Common is excellent as well.

I did not know this douche was on the album. I'll need at least two other people confirming this is a solid track before I believe this statement.

yah the album was produced by Jon Brion I believe - he did the soundtrack for Eternal Sunshine and has produced a redonkulous amount of #1 hits - if any of you are ever in LA go check out his weekly show, he plays every instrument, live improvisation, basically he is the most talented musician alive IMO.

but yah the Kanye album is the freakin hot sizzle.

Kanye West leads the VERY short list of unique hip hop artists these days.

I long for 90s hip hop. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Yet Another CD Link (http://files.filefront.com/LastRegisteration/;4053045;;/fileinfo.html)

The only reason I added this is because it's very fast. I downloaded complete CD (mp3's) in 3 minutes.

The version from Freshman Adjustment (the "album" that was leaked a while ago) is much better imo.

Hey man I hate Maroon 5 as much as anyone else. Luckily Levine only sings the chorus and a couple other lines, so he doesn't screw things up too much. It's the production and Kanye's lyrics that are so great. I love the beat on this one.

I dunno, I don't really like the whole Kanye style. Too many songs of his sound like they could be on Sesame Street, and he's really not an above-average rapper.

Fortunately I listen to rap/hip-hop for the production more than anything. YAY!

The hack job they did on Hey Mamma is enough to make me hate this. I won't, but now I'm not buying the retail out of spite. That song rules and they over produced it to death.

Yea, Hey Mama isn't up there among my favorites on this album.... I think the ones I've like the best are 'Gone', 'On My Way Home' and 'Heard Em Say'

Who else thinks that Jamie Foxx needs to get out of the Ray Charles character (Gold Digger)? LOL

Touch the Sky /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
My Way Home /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Crack Music I like the beat.
Addiction I like for some reason even though I don't think it's that great of a song.
Diamonds remix with Jay-Z /images/graemlins/laugh.gif++
We Major is decent
Hey Mama /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
Gone is my favorite track on the album.
Late is a good chill song.

Good overall CD. It has to grow on you I think. I didn't like it really when I first listened to it, but 3-4 times in, it gets better.

After listening to this the majority of the day my favorite song is Gone. Other really good tracks are Heard Em Say, Diamonds remix, Hey Mama, and Celebration.

Kanye is a pretentious bastard, but he has undeniable talent. He's clearly a much better producer then he is a mc.

i'd rate this about the same as college dropout: pretty good. i like about half the songs a lot, and the other half are nothing special. overall nothing to go crazy over, but it's still pretty decent.

Great Album. Loved Dropout, love this.

Anyone happen to have 'Bittersweet', I remember hearing Kanye talk it up months ago, he collab with John Mayer which was supposed to be on this album. Not that I'm dying to hear John Mayer, only that Kanye was hyping the track quite a bit, so I'm wondering how it didn't make the final cut.
