It's not a great one, but here it goes.

In January of this year, my Mom's boyfriend took his son, Wade, and daughter (ages 20 &amp; 18), my Mom, me (age 19), and my two sisters (ages 25 &amp; 21) to Jamaica for a weeks vacation. We went to some all-inclusive resort where all the crappy food and tiny drinks are free. Anyway, all the kids decide that we want to get out of the resort for a day. So the girl's decide it will be a shopping trip. Not what Wade and I want to do, but oh well.

So before we leave for this trip we decide the 1 hour taxi drive with our sisters might be a little better if we're high. So we get all blazed before we leave.

We get to Montego Bay, and Wade and I head off on our own. Within 45 minutes we've spent all our money on gifts for people back home. So now we're just walking around. We're walking past Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, and here comes this very well dressed Jamaican, who speaks good English. He starts saying that He recognizes us from the Starfish Trelawny (our resort), cause he's a bartneder over there. So we're talking, and he tells us to follow him. We follow him just down the beach to this really cool spot. He asks if we smoke, we say yes, and he starts rolling a joint. He lights it for us, and we all start smoking. At this point Wade, and I are all blazed and thinking "Wow, Jamaican's are chill. This is [censored] cool". We get done smoking, and the fucker pulls this [censored] on us, "Usually when we do something like this, you leave a little money for the farmer". /images/graemlins/shocked.gif [censored], we just spent all our money. We try to explain the situation, but he doesn't understand. He asks how we're getting back to the resort with no money (cab's prepaid for), and all this [censored]. We're getting super annoyed byt this point, and I just offer him some cheap bottle of rum I bought. He declines, "How am I supposed to pay the farmer with this? What is he supposed to tell his kids tonight?" I'm thinking, wow did he really just say that? Now he's trying to grab my wallett to see inside it, and I tell him he can take the rum or leave it. That bottle cost a lot more than one joint costs. So now he calls over his friend who was down the beach, and they start talking in that fast Jamaicanized English that they talk in. Finally after a lot of [censored] talking, we stand up and say "Take the [censored] bottle or leave it. It's your choice, we're out of here." I think he finally decided that us two could probably beat the [censored] out of him if it came to that, and he agrees to taking the bottle. There were so many things I wanted to say to that dumb [censored], but now I think a sucker punch would have been best.

Like I said, not a great story, but it was a little creepy at the time being in a third world country with two drug dealers trying to get money from you down on a secluded beach. It still pisses me off when I think about it.

Oh yeah, the only reason he knew we were from the Starfish was because of the green wristbands we had to wear while we were there. Maybe if I wasn't so high at that point my dumbass would have figured out what was really going on.
