How does this guy still have a job as a pitcher for a major league baseball team?

the royals are a joke, why continue to pitch this guy when they can be taking a look at whatever prospects they may have in the minors. i doubt they can do much worse than this.

It's really amazing why he's even allowed to wear a uniform let alone "pitch" 150+ innings.

his numbers were good when he was young. big record and a 3.5 era. I think he got lucky the last two years with an 8 -3 record for KC 2 yrs ago with a bad era and 13 -5 with a 4 era in a hitters park. The amazing thing is he thinks he is the best pitcher in the league. I can see how he is still around. Teams are fairly desperate just look at texas and their not a bad team. Lima thinks he is one of the best in the leauge which is even more amazing.

he's a jungle legend...but yes, he his less than stellar.
