MP1 is relatively conservative pre-flop. Pot raise usually indicates good AA, high double suited pair 3 way, etc.

What do you do? Feel free to include travel back in time and fold pre-flop.

Folding preflop is not a bad idea.

You picked up two pair and another flush draw. You may have the best hand. Bet the pot.

I fold preflop (twice). It may well be profitable to play but you'll have to be happy playing exactly this kind of situation.

Quality of your draws matter less when you get HU and when there will be little money left on the river. You've no way of knowing if you're best or which draws are ok but usually one or the other is good. Bet pot (committing yourself) and move on to the next hand.

EDIT: Didn't notice you had 2 flush draws. Stop worrying and get your money in. Don't think of your 2 pair as a draw to a boat,it may win here.

OK, just so you know I did raise the pot (without hesitation by the way). He raised me back and I called. A heart came on the river.

Unfortunately for me, my opponent had a hand that nullified 14 of my potential 26 outs: A /images/graemlins/heart.gifA /images/graemlins/diamond.gif9 /images/graemlins/heart.gif9 /images/graemlins/spade.gif.

I was curious if anyone would think I played this too aggressively (other than pre-flop of course).
