With no reads or anything it's a clear fold. However, looking at the buy-in level it would be hard to give villain credit for QQ, KK or AA. But I think the fact that you still have three trouts behind you, I would fold.

Agreed. I would also stop re-raising JJ if I were you, just call.

So you'd only reraise with AA, KK, or QQ?

Heh. Or with AK but only if the chips in the pot called for it and it was a push.

Given what I've seen in these tournaments, I'd say more often than not you're faced with something against which you're a considerable favourite. The first-hand-all-in (especially after a re-raise) is rarely a sign of anything except inexperience. Still, against any reasonable opponent, and especially with three behind you, it's a fold. Depends on whether you enter the $2 SNGs to gamble or to play.

Get ready for the funniest thing you've heard on 2+2. I play the $2 SNGs to learn. Maybe it's not that funny. Gotta start somewhere, right?

So it looks like 2 folds and a call so far. I wonder if the call was suggested because he feels it gives me the best chance at winning.

I'm not sure those are the best places to go if you want to learn. All you do at these levels is wait for a huge hand, push it and hope they don't suck out on you /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yeah, that's what's been working for me so far. Gotta start somewhere, right?
