I was told by a couple of respected posters to push the turn. I was thinking about it more and I just cant understand why I should make this play.

Villian could easily have a 9 and instacall, or she was (stupidly)slowplaying QQ-AA and would probably call as well. Everything else shes throwing away(except maybe A7, 88, or TT). If I call the turn, she has another chance to bluff at it with a worse hand, and maybe I can get away from it if an A or K falls (I think a Q would be borderline).

I would like to have a better understanding of why I should be pushing the turn.

....and citanul(or anybody else), if I shouldnt be making two posts about one hand, tell me and ill delete.

Edit: I also think its kinda bad to be going out in lvl 1 with this kind of hand, it just seems too LAGGY, is this thinking flawed too?
