I open-raise A9/images/graemlins/spade.gif in the CO. LP button who will bet to when checked most of the time calls. Blinds fold.

Flop K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif

bet,call

Turn 4/images/graemlins/spade.gif

It's close. If you bet the turn and he calls, you are pretty much obligated to bet the river. And I don't think check/folding the turn is bad. The board is full of draws but you are OOP and the pot isn't ginormous...

I think I check/fold.

Check-fold and exploit his auto-bet mentality on medium/strong hands.

How weak tight would it be to just give it up here and bet flop, c/r turn with bottom pair next time?

Against the player you described, don't you want to get to showdown?

He could easily be on a flush draw.

Definitely bet/fold the turn.... and then the river seems like a check/call if he "bets when checked to" as a default.

I'd consider this as well. I'd probably checkfold the turn here. I'd start checkraising lots of flops after he coldcalls my pf raises...or at least look for lots of opportunities.
