insta-call.
JJ v AA-99, AKs-AQs, AKo-AQo = 50%
With pot odds, and probably a looser range, it's easy.
P.S. If the BB would raise less with AA or KK (likely), you are now 57.6% against his range.

How has the BB been collecting his chips?
at a $55 I would think that with the hands you fear (AA, KK, QQ) he would re-raise (not all-in) to try to get more of your chips in the pot.

Depends on the opponent. I would fold this more often than not. I havent seen too many people do this without JJ, AK+ at the 55s.
I really didnt wanna get in a race situation against AK or AQ. I think calling might be ok if there are less people, but with this many left i felt i didtn wanna race.

About right. However most people with 2800 chips at this stage are pushing people around. I'd lean towards a call if he's been bullying, or if he got that stack with donkish play.
