I'm using pokerace but thus far it doesn't seem to update stats on players in realtime. I have only observed tables but haven't played myself. People who were previously in my PT database's stats appear, but they don't seem to refresh with more hands. Players who I have no stats on likewise don't seem to acquire them in real time. I have not had PT actually running during this time- does it need to be?

Sorry if this is a repeat or simple question, tried searching and didn't turn up much. Thanks

You need to have poker tracker open and importing in order for the stats to update. It reads hands in your database rather than downloading the hands itself.

Further, players not in your database won't have stats displayed until you have a certain amount of hands on them. You can configure the number of hands in the program.

There are most likely two issues:

1. How you set up PA in terms of the minimum hands it needs to post stats. (the default is at 50 hands...I have it at 0)
2. How often you have Poker Tracker look for new files. (when I am playing I have it at 1 minute)

PA definitely does update in real time.

Hope this helps,

Ahh, that's the reason. Figures. OK thanks for the info. You think the combo of pokerace and pokertracker open when I 6 table will hurt my comps' performance (rhetorical question /images/graemlins/grin.gif)?

Thanks again

PA Hud is extremely well written and uses very little system resources (memory & CPU). You shouldnt have a problem.
