I hate the min-raise PF, and after that it's a pretty easy fold.

is it really easy, after investing 2/3 of your stack?

Meh, raise 300 PF and you have to call this even if you think 90% you are beat.

I just had the worst 4th place in my life, I had 2000 chips and one guy had 30. I managed to fun into the big stack who made a terrible call with AJ to knock my 44 out. Couldn't believe it, how stupid he was and even more so how stupid I was. /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

3500 in the pot. 400 or so to call. You are getting nearly 9:1 odds to call and have 4 or more outs.

Fold and preserve your remaining 500 chips? I don't think so. At this stage, your only real fear is 66 or maybe A6 from one of the callers. More likely AT or AQ from one or both.

I would have to call and do my "pwn3d you" dance when the K or 6 hits. That or turn off the computer, crack open a cold one and smash my mouse when SB turns over 66.

How did it turn out? Tucson still rocks, BTW

Results:

BB shows [ 6h, 3d ] three of a kind, sixes.
KittyLiquor5 shows [ Ks, Kh ] two pairs, kings and sixes.
SB shows [ 7h, 7c ] two pairs, sevens and sixes.

63o ????????

My Slansky wallet is overflowing!!!

The big problem here is the min-raise preflop. It was still ridiculous for 63 to call you, but you have to make it less attractive for medoicre to shitty hands to suck out on you.

First, you made a ridiculous minbet preflop. Then you made an overbet on the flop. Not sure why you made a pot committed bet on the flop and still have to ask if you should call. Just bet 300 on the flop and take it from there. BTW, you're not getting away from this hand either way at the 33s.

If I had bet 300 on the flop, got a push and a call, then what would I do??? Fold then? (My flop bet was to just take it down right then. I was happy to get a push, the call scared the heck out of me.)

PS. Yes, the preflop was ridiculous. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Jeff, I can't fold KK there on that flop. Too many people will go all in with a 5. It just doesn't make sense that someone will push when they have a 6. 90% of the time they will slowplay it.

But the 2 all ins are scarry but I think you still have to call.
