Call and push a non-spade turn.

Gotta raise to the size of the pot on this flop I think.

You're up against KQ /images/graemlins/spade.gif, AJ, KJ, or JJ. Maybe he's a huge donkey and called with QT. I think a push is the best move here.

Was thinking the same.

Always horrible to be put in this situation first hand. Look at it the bright way - doubling up first hand is fun.
And if you lose, hey the night is long.

Actually, now that I think about it, calling and then pushing any non-spade turn might be a little better. You might lose KJ if you put it all in here. Is there any way AJ folds to a flop push? The only problem with calling the flop is then you're in a tough position if a spade comes on the turn.

I don't understand. If you figure your ahead here why push a non spade turn?

Actually, since MP3 has only about $30 left, you can't fold to a spade turn any way, so best to push the flop. He's not going to fold any hands for another $30

I can say 2 things.

Make it 10 preflop (limping is a viable option IMHO), you're out of position and there are too many limpers for AK.

Raise it full pot on the flop.

I cannot confidently give you advice on the reraise, because I am weak tight and I probably fold way too much in that spot. I don't know.

What's all this talk about being worried about a spade turn. No way villian 3-bet with a flush draw considering we have the king of spades. A spade turn just gives Hero 9 more stone cold nut outs.

You're right. I need to start reading these things closer. It's going all in no matter what here, the only decision is to put it now or on the turn.

its obviously now if the flush draw isn't in his range.

So nobody would consider a fold here ?
My WKC (weak tight cortex) might be acting up /images/graemlins/blush.gif

I thought this through while on aim and as the clock was ticking down I dragged it over to push but it folded me. I was too ashamed to admit thats how I played it up until now. Afterwards I saw what a terrible player I was up agaisnt in that hand and now im kicking myself for not insta pushing the hand. Im sure he had 2 pair.
