your reply blows. if you can't tell, i suck at omaha. maybe you could stop being a dick for a second and tell me what i should have done, or if it is just incredibly standard so i don't post more of it.

I think you played it just fine.

Villain isn't too good. Too loose PF although I don't have a great read on him postflop.

Wintermute, no need to reply, thanks.

Fold to the flop raise. You have bottom set with two to low, two to flush on board. Most likely you are in bad shape. I assume the river gave your opponent a better boat than yours.

Just laugh at him, he is providing amusement for us.

Maybe he thinks it sucks because you posted a HH instead of narrative or a converter? I hate reading hand histories, too, oy.

I hate them too. If bison's worked I would have converted it. I probably could have narrated it, but whatever.

To emptyshell, I think I would have folded if I didn't have an 8. 88 is just too unlikely. The only hand I'm concerned about is JJ. I think I should fold the river though. The low made it. I guess I was hoping he was overplaying his flush without the low.

I love hand histories, it's the only way of knowing exactly what happened without any bias from the writer. Hand histories don't try to put a slant on what happens.

That is true, and something I never thought of.

I still like the converter and narratives better though /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

On the flop lets review the situation, You are OOP with bottom set on a 2 flush, 2 low board facing a re-raise. To me this is an easy fold for 2 reasons:
1) What turn card do you want to see?
2) This pot is about to get big, do you really want to play for a big portion of your stack with this hand?

Honestly, I have no idea how I'm supposed to live up to your coolness.

Seriously, what is your problem. I still don't even know why my post sucked so much. You were too busy trying to be witty and creative by recycling an old joke to clue me in. Get real.

Good point. I have started using pokerhand.org (thanks Ribbo). I like it better than the converter and nice to see the 2-dimes data at each point.
