Heads up trouble at the End

I've found that I am good at chipping a guy down, only to have him come back through aggressive play. For example, if we both have 1500 to start, i usually get him down to 2400 vs 600 in chips and his aggressive play allows him to come back on me. When at this end part of the HU match do you tighten up or start pushing with anything? At this point the blinds are usually 25/50.

It might be Bodog Heads up Games... don't those start out with 1500 chips each?
