I tried search and google to no avail, so I am forced to ask this retarded question outside of my home forum because my friends want to know.
If two people have the exact same flush in different suits, what happens? Is it a chop?
If I don't get at least 3 flames for every 1 serious answer, I'm gonna be disappointed.

The pot would be split. Suits only matter in determining who the bring-in is...they are not involved in deciding who wins a pot.

Suits can also determine betting position later in the hand, not just on 3rd street.
For example, the A /images/graemlins/heart.gif K /images/graemlins/club.gif would bet ahead of he A /images/graemlins/club.gif K /images/graemlins/heart.gif on 4th street if there were no other higher hand out.

A coin is flipped to decide who takes the pot. The higher suit gets to call it in the air. Dont you ever ask a silly question like this here again.

It's a tie, everyone loses. The house takes it all as rake.

You guys have got it all wrong...I'm convinced that none of you have ever played poker before.
What happens is this: the pot rolls into the next hand, and the players involved must remove their shoes and smell each others' feet.

Incorrect. The player closest to the dealer's left acts first.
As for the original query, it's chop. Honest.

I think that at least some sites do it correctly. It doesn't surprise me that not all do. Most of them put the big blind on the button when cash games become heads-up, but do it correctly in tournaments. I have no idea why that would be.
