I am getting bored with 5-10 6-max on Party and will probably quit in a couple weeks. Per my usual getting bored strategy, I am watching a bad movie on my laptop while playing 4 tables. I limp UTG with KQo. Two callers, BB makes it $45, I glance at my fish list, he is on it, I call. Heads up to the flop of AAx rainbow. He bets $45. I am still reading my fish list. He is not on it. Off by one letter and one number. Oh well. Lawrence Fishburne is monologuing. He has incredible stage presence.

So I call. Turn is a K. He bets $10. I raise to $35. He calls. River is a blank. He bets $10. Lawrence is really laying those lines out. I make a terrible play and just call. Threw away $25 there. He has JJ. He gets all agitated: "Why did you call the flop?" I type "alcohol" and say out loud, to no one in particular, "with bread and butter."

He'll keep winning small to medium long-term, but never big.

This post ruled, but I'm not sure why.

Matt,

why are you getting bored with 5/10 6max? Where will you go next?

fold. and if no king and he checks, i raise to $75 with the hope of him calling. then when he checks the river i bet $175 and he folds.
