tourney meanings

I recently called my local casino and they told me that the tourney they were running this weekend was a 10-10-10 pot limit hold em I have played hold em quite a bit but have never entered any tournaments and was wondering what the 10-10-10 means, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I am probably not going to be any help here but I have seen tournaments listed as (10-1, 20-2 etc). It is a $10 entry fee (to fund the payoffs) and the $1 fee to pay for the dealer, cards and use of the card room. I haven't seen any listed as you stated.
