Well, I'd probably be able to take 99% of men over 70, and 99% of boys under 12, and at least 50% of everybody in between. So...60%?

In the 18-55 range in America only, I'd guess it's somewhere between 60-70%. I think for most guys there is a 10-15% group against which you'll have basically a stalemate, or a luck situation.

most of the disabled ones with serious physical handicaps, very few people in the lower age brackets, some of the older bracket, I should be able to outlast the ones that are seriously out of shape/smokers etc. Maybe 25%, maybe more, maybe less. I guess I have not been in a fight of flight situation like that in my adolescent or adult life. 25% seems like a good number though.

I'd give myself a good range, just because I'm going to be heavier than most guys (6' 245ish) and probably smarter too. I think at least 40% of fights would be ended with a kick in the sack. I'd go with 75%.

If you're giving yourself the element of surprise and a cheap first shot your number should be closer to 95%. Most guys are pretty good at guarding their nuts once they're alerted to hostility.

I have a hard time dedicating everything to a fight. I generally don't want to really hurt people - that is, do worse than incapacitate them. That said, I'd go with 50-60%.

I think I could take up to 35%. I'm 5'5" and weigh 130lbs. I have 5 years of Kyokushin Karate under my belt and I'm in tip top shape.

Even so, I think I'd get pwned by most ppl weighing more than I cuz I have limited grappling skills.

Anyone who said over 75% or so, is seriously misunderstanding the nut factor. Just becuase you are tall and fat, does not mean you can beat someone up. In a fight its all about who is nuttier, and has less regard for human life. If you arent willing to kill someone in a fight, there is no way you could beat up 75% of people out there. 50% tops. Big != tough. Craziest guy I knew was about 5 2, ripped, and he sent 2 kids a week to the hospital in high school, almost killed at least one, and sent one to a coma. He was nuts and a menace, I was 6ft 1, 235, completely ripped, but knew I could never win a fight with him, because he would be willing to kill me. Its about the desperation factor, not the size factor.

Eh, I dont even know if I could put it that way. Ive been in a lot of scuffles, hang out in some pretty shady joints, so Ive seen a lot. And one thing I have noticed, is the most feared guy, is the one that is willing to take it to the next level. The crazy guy, who would rather stick a knife in you than throw a punch. Certain people have a crazy switch, thats the people that you dont [censored] with. Plus you guys who say 75% are forgetting about the prison population, the projects, etc. Maybe you could beat up 75% of the people at your WASP colleges, but otherwise, not a chance.

But you figure general population, at a college-only you could physically beat up 75%, but thats skewing results, when you start factoring in, guys who are/have been locked up, skinheads, gangs, the pjs, etc, the numbers start adding up.

One thing which may bias my decision is that I imagined this as "willingness to fight" so to speak. In other words, I think within a random group of 100 males, most wouldn't want to fight me. If you change the dynamics and everyone wants to fight, I think my percentage would be smaller. For example, if all 100 were forced to fight, there were no rules and no repercussions and winner gets one million dollars, I'm sure I'd lose to more than 5 of them. Not necessarily because they're a better fighter but because they're able to apply critical damage before I can.

If I was to walk into a bar with a random 100 guys and try to start a fight with each one of them, on average, less than 5 would be able to kick my ass.

I would say 80%...thats only because i am a large guy 6'3" 275, and played college football, and Wrestled in college..I also have some formal marshall arts training. But that being said there are some guys -big, small, fat, skinny - that you will not be able to handle, they are usually just plain tuff MFers, or nuts.
