1/2 NL 6 max at pacific. I'm playing pretty tight because there's a maniac 2 to my right... and he's controlling the table. I've set a couple decent traps on him, but nothing big.

Hero has K /images/graemlins/diamond.gif8 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif in CO. Button is decently tight preflop, but loose post.

Hero raises to 6$, Button calls, BB calls (LAG dude controlling the table)

Pot 18
Flop J /images/graemlins/diamond.gif6 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif4 /images/graemlins/heart.gif
-- BB checks, Hero bets 14$, Button calls, BB folds

Pot 45$
Turn 2 /images/graemlins/club.gif
-- Hero checks, button checks (quickly)

River 4 /images/graemlins/spade.gif
-- Hero bets 23$

Not standard. I think this would be considered spewing chips. Or rather, money.

No, and I'll tell you specifically why. Nothing screams "missed flush draw bluff" like the check the turn, bet the river. You're going to get called 6 ways from sunday by a large majority of players. Bet the turn, 2/3 pot to pot...

I don't like preflop raise out of position against lag.

bluffing /w king high against a maniac doesn't sound like a good idea to me either?

If you made your bluff bet on the turn, instead of the river, you would have had more chance of it being successful and you still had your diamond outs.

Button was the tight passive dude-- not the maniac.

So 2/3 of the pot on turn, then fold river UI?
