I'd much rather bet the flop. I find that many times I bet the flop here and everyone folds. Putting 1/2 BB on the flop for a chance at folding 1 or more opponents is a worthwhile bet to me. I don't give up AK so easily.

You did notice the flop, right? How often do you think a flop bet is actually going to take this thing down? I'm definitely firing if I have a spade, but I think a bet into a crowd of limpers on a board like this is throwing away money.

Auto-betting this flop 4 handed is suicide. I think you played it fine, the pot's too small on the turn to mess around w/your tainted overcard+gutshot draw.
