I've seen at least 5 different total maniacs this afternoon-- normally its pretty weak/tight at this time of day. Anybody else notice this or did I just get really lucky with table selection?

See... now you're just making me want to play. Especially when I see a table with avg pot size $98. That's 2+2 table numbers.

So play; just stay off my tables; I can't beat 2+2ers.

I'm fleeing as I need to eat something; they're all yours.

I join a $200 NL table. Slightly above my BR, but whatever. I promtly lose $200. Boo-urns.
I join a $400 NL table with one of my favorite buddies. He busts, but I'm up $300 so far.

I noticed that now that I've been playing NL200 I've started to see my buddies sitting even at the NL1K tables. Damn, I have to move up quickly. Can't believe those guys sit there.

I've played NL$600 and NL$25 the same day. For me, it just depends on my mood and how I'm running.
I think other people just got that gambool and wanna play as high as possible. Which I guess is why they end up as buddies. Kinda sad, really.

There are also players who do the parlay and keep moving up once they've won enough on one table to move up to the next. I buddy listed a guy who was running crazy hot (though playing horribly) at the 200 and he was up at the 400, then 600, then 1K and now I only see him in the 50s and 100s (sometimes 25s).

Would you give me decent odds it was someone who read the "Summer challenge" thread here and got ideas? /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Doubtful; its a fairly common practice. You see it in casinos, too (both limit and no-limit). People running good just move up until they go broke.
