No, but I love the David Foley "endorsement":

"If I cared about poker at all, this would be the book I'd buy."

Seeing as how it's not released yet, I doubt anyone here has read it, but I personally am going to check it out. I was very impressed with Phil Gordon's previous efforts - his first book was perhaps the most thorough "complete newbie's introduction to poker and all aspects therein" i've ever seen, and his DVD was excellent as well. I expect this won't disappoint.

If its half as good as his touting on the WSOP Podcasts, he might have a pretty good book.

For some reason though I'm not believing it.

I have a galley copy for review, I'm reading it now.

I haven't finished it yet, but so far I'm pretty impressed. There are some good tips in this book. I don't think I'd recommend it as a first book on no-limit, but it seems to be a very good second book aimed at intermediate players.

Needless to say, I'll write a full review when I finish reading it.
