Just played a NLHE hand where I had JsTs and the board was 9h qh kc. I ended up all in against Kh 3h.
I checked the odds and was surprised that I was only a very slight favourite.
I was more surprised when I changed the opponent's K to an Ah. This tipped the balance in his favour.

I'm guessing this info is correct but I just wanted to check. I'm guessing it's the backdoor straight that makes the A better than the K in this instance but I'm surprised that this makes the flush draw a favourite against the made straight.

And in either case, you're a fairly strong favorite - where did you check your odds?

[/ QUOTE ]You're about a 3:2 favorite. Either our ideas of "very slight" are different or the odds you checked were incorrect.

I've just rechecked this hand and I'm getting a different answer today - much more in line with what I was originally expecting.
I guess I must have entered something incorrectly. If so, it was definitely with the board cards because I entered the hole cards a few different times. Thing is, I can't think of a similar board that give answers close to 50-50. I wasn't high or drunk.
