I'm dieting and cutting back on alcohol somewhat, but there is basically no good light beers out there. I've been drinking corona light for a while which isn't terrible and has plenty of alcohol, but am getting a bit sick of it. Any suggestions? Basically looking for high alcohol content, 3.2 doesn't cut it. How about liquors?

Heh, if you're looking to get wasted and lose weight, forget about it. One gram of alcohol is 7 calories, doesn't matter how you dice it. Light beer has fewer calories because it has less alcohol.

drink real beer (homebrewed is the best) and compensate for the extra caloric intake with better diet and excercise. Or just drink a lot less real beer.

The best way to be a drunk and diet is hard stuff with diet soda, very low calorie. Whiskey/Rum and Diet Coke, Vodka Tonic, Gin & Tonic and many others. Gives you some variety and definitely fewer carbs than the beer would be as well.

I had a Tecate neon light, but it broke.

Now there are no good beer lights.

drink stuff like vodka/soda, rum/diet coke. the problem with alcohol is all the sugar and if you can cut it out of the mixer you're well on your way to reducing your caloric intake. either that or switch to sniffing glue.

Why not drink Everclear and eliminate the middleman? All the stuff you want, none of those annoying calories you don't need.

Seriously, drink the best beer in limited quantities. It's about quality, not volume. Heck, buy some of that expensive Belgian stuff if you need to eliminate the temptation to spend dollars. If one is all you can afford, one is all you'll have.

I just tried Rock Green Light (Rolling Rock). It was actually pretty decent I thought. It has 3.7 alcohol and 83 cals.

Also, I've heard quaaludes have the same effects as alcohol. Get your hands on some.

Here's (http://www.beer100.com/beercalories.htm) a handy little chart giving the alcohol content, calories and carbs of quite a few beers. Oddly enough, it seems that the most bang for you calorie buck is Dragon Stout out of Jamaica. That and Sam Adams light isn't really that light after all.

Teh suck

No flavor at all. A sixer usually does me right. I had 8 of these things and didn't catch a hint of a buzz.
