Anyone do anything differently?

PartyPoker - $10/$20 Texas - 6 players

Hero is BB with Qd 8s

PreFlop

SB folds, Hero checks

(3 players) FLOP: 5h 5s 8c ( Pot Size: 1.75 BB )
Hero BETS, UTG folds, CO RAISES
Hero RAISES, CO Calls

(2 players) TURN: 9h ( Pot Size: 4.75 BB )
Hero BETS, CO Calls

(2 players) RIVER: 5c ( Pot Size: 6.75 BB )
Hero BETS, CO RAISES
Hero Calls

Final Pot:10.75 BB

It looks good to me.

Co seems pretty aggressive (based on 2.3 factor, not action in the hand), might be a good time for a flop check-raise. Other than that, I like.

Looks good to me. Did he river a split pot?

Nah, he turned a nine to go with his ten. I'd prob have paid that off too. I pay off too much.

I don't understand the river bet/call. Do you just think he's a LAG just donking around? My read on the flop is that he has a PP (66/77, maybe higher? I guess given his PFR% he would probably raise 99+?) and gets scared that you have a 5.

If he has overcards, is he going to call a river bet? Is there any worse hand he's going to raise with? Or do you think this is purely a bluff?

Yeah, the river call sucks, but I sort of have to make it against this guy. I dont' think I win that often, but I think I win enough.

Yeah, I think the river play is perfect, unfortunately. The pot is too large to fold to a LAG-type, even though you're usually calling for just a split, and the river bet is mandatory. I like the rest of it too.

Party 10/20, I have 9 /images/graemlins/club.gif6 /images/graemlins/club.gif in the BB.

3 limpers, sb completes, I check, 5 to the flop for 5 sbs:

6 /images/graemlins/spade.gif5 /images/graemlins/club.gif3 /images/graemlins/heart.gif

I bet, aggro-idiot raises, I call.

(I should have three bet this in a flash, right?

Turn : T /images/graemlins/club.gif

I check-call.

River: some club.

I bet, he raises, we cap.

losing to a higher flush happens but sucks. aggro idiots get paid off because they pay more often. i like it.

Same LAG? Then yea, 3-bet. The rest of the hand looks fine.

I don't see a reason to bet the river in hand 1(OP), unless this guy will call overcards. Cuz if he's got any sort of hand, it seems like you're beat. Maybe he'll bluff if u check also. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

Is it typical to see 30-50% of your flops at this level?
