Geezers Still Get Exemptions (http://www.accessatlanta.com/ajc/sports/0303/30masters.html)

Hootie handled the whole past champions thing horribly and is now backpedaling. I don't think Cliff Roberts would cave so easily. But then he wouldn't screw things up as bad as Hootie. Somehow the members need to can Hootie and get better leadership. The past champions blunder was just a hint of what was to come with the NCOW thing.

The funny thing is that Martha is starting to make Hootie look good with her ill-conceived attempts to capitalize on the war.

I'll tell you what....I don't want either of them running my election campaign. /forums/images/icons/smirk.gif

...was hiring a PR firm that told him to take an extremely aggressive approach after he got Burk's letter. I about fell out of my chair when I read that in a current golf magazine. Any sophomore business student knows better than that. Hootie's handling of the geezers & Burk is about as bad as could be imagined.

How Hootie himself didn't know better, or ever became chairman of Augusta, or ever made a nickel in business is beyond me.

Daddy's friends & the ol' Suvern Boy Network, I guess. Kinda like Dubya! /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
