I played them very strong after the flop as if I had a queen or higher pockets but this guy kept with it.

He flipped over a 8d9d - he was chasing a str8 and had a gutshot

I really can't stand this type of stuff

Ok first, use a converter:

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (7 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

SB ($36.25)
Hero ($31.51)
UTG ($42.04)
MP1 ($24.75)
MP2 ($9.65)
CO ($14.90)
Button ($19.85)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A/images/graemlins/club.gif, K/images/graemlins/spade.gif. SB posts a blind of $0.10. MP1 posts a blind of $0.35.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP1 (poster) checks, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, SB (poster) completes, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1.25</font>, MP1 folds, SB calls $1.25.

Flop: ($3.35) 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif, Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $1</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $3</font>, SB calls $2.

Turn: ($9.35) 7/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $1</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $5</font>, SB calls $4.

River: ($19.35) 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: $19.35

Next, post these hands in the No limit forum, not the limit.

And finally, don't post bad beat stories. This is poker, if you can't handle it, you probably shouldn't be playing.

Also in this instance, your flop bet really sucks. You played pretty bad.

And a flush draw, not to mention any 8 or 9 to beat you....what's that...18 outs?

Remember, you don't have to go to the river w/every AK or just because you raised preflop.

And if you can't stand people calling your AK raises w/98s you're going to have a very frustrating poker life.

his preflop call is questionable but beyond that you played pretty bad. Big unsuited cards in NL aren't always good

I have to compliment you on converting his hand explaining correct place to post and giving dead on advice.
