In about 30 hands villain has done nothing special. Most likely loose passive like everyone else at this level.

UTG calls $0.25, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP1 calls $0.25, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP3 calls $0.25, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises to $0.5</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $2.5</font>, UTG folds, MP1 folds, MP3 folds, CO calls $2.

Flop: ($5.85) J/images/graemlins/club.gif, T/images/graemlins/spade.gif, T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $3.5</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises to $27</font>

After there are many votes, I'd like to try to plug in the probabilities into Fim's Calling an all-in raise equation to see if this is a profitable call or not.

im not sure how u can fold here. i dont see villains at this level playing a 10 or JJ this way, and if he has AA oh well AAvsKK is not a spot i mind losing my chips. I think QQ or AJ are his most likely holdings.

This is a pretty good flop to check.

This isn't a terrible flop to check, really. Unless villain has 89 (unlikely) or QK (could be), he's probably drawing to 3 outs.

and the answer is??

I said AA - but that's just me going out on a limb

AA or AT -- leaning towards AA.

I like a check-raise to see where your at on this flop.

i'd lean toward KQ personally, AT otherwise... are we ever going to find out the right answer?

Villain won with AT. I was going to fold at first because a big bet usually means a big hand. After I thought about it, it seemed like he had to have QQ. AA, JJ, or any T has to slowplay this. I also didn't think he'd call a $2 reraise with AT.

As for checking the flop - although most players at this level don't bet if they don't have a hand, it sometimes happens. If I check and he pots it, then what do I do? Still come over the top? Fold? Call and see what he does on the turn?

he got lucky you were on a big hand. He played this like a donkey, it worked, but hey. I would think a 10 would slowplay here and let you bet into him. I thought he had AJ personally. Just note down that he played flopped trips this way and it won't happen again at least.

P.S. Buddy list him..these guys are easy to clobber.

How did he play this like a donkey (postflop)?

I think he played this terrible. I call his raise with AA, JJ, TT, and sometimes KK. He should have called and let me bet into him again. Or I check the turn and he bets and I wonder what to do. He loses a lot of value from AK, AJ, and QQ. If he's raising this thinking that I have KQ for an OESD, then he's an idiot for thinking somebody would reraise OOP with KQ. It worked in this scenario, but my money was going in on the turn for sure if he had just called, and I almost folded to his raise.
