View Full Version : Worst Movie You Own

imported_The Vibesman

In another thread I admitted to owning a video of Blacula. This is far from the "worst" movie I have in the house.

My name is The Vibesman, and I bought "Freejack" on DVD. Yep, the one with Emilio Estevez as a time-traveling race car driver, and Mick Jagger as the tough bad guy. I've watched it a hundred times. Not only do I view the DVD regularly, I'll watch it almost anytime I come across it on TV.

I'm sure all of us, for some reason, have some really crappy movies we get a kick out of. Anyone out there want to admit to owning Creepshow II or something of that nature?

edit: chgd thread title per good suggestion

I'm probably the only person who had seem it but "Treasure" is so bad it is hilarious. Same with the original "Flipper". I remember seeing that when I was about nine years old.

Gets better every time I watch it.

I got my first DVD player back when they were giving you free DVDs when you bought your player. All of them were bad, but the worst was probably "Stepmom"

The worst one I've paid money for (excluding children's movies) would be "Save the Last Dance"

I put my DVD collection up against anyone's movie for movie, every flick is great.

Unfortunatley my brother ruined it with buying me the Indiana Jones Trilogy. Not bad movies, but that's the worst movie I own. Honestly.

Lethal Weapon 4 - sure, Jet Li is very cool, and it's not a bad flick for watching with your brain turned off, but compared to the rest of my collection, or to the rest of the Lethal Weapon series, it's hurting.

That, or Dead Man on Campus, but I have a soft spot for that one...I laughed my ass off the first two times I saw it.

Jet Li's awesome, and I love first few Lethal Weapon movies (just bought the director's cut of the second, actually), but I thought IV was horrible as well. Aside from just being incoherent much of the time, it seemed like the most racist movie towards Asians I had seen since World War II.

The Island of Doctor Moreau (with Val Kilmer and Marlon Brando).

Saw this one at the theatre and it was a SPECTACULAR failure. Brando is so friggin' bizarre - and Kilmer's impersonation of Brando was insanely awesome.

And the little guy?!? What was with the little guy?

Needless to say, I had to own it.

So bad but I can't turn away....
