Any inputs on the poker in detroit and michigan and windsor etc would be greatly appreciated. Locations, game limits, quality, smoking, rakes. Thanks in advance.

Far as I know, Greektown's the only casino in Detroit with a poker room. 10 tables, a bit crowded, incredibly smoky. Couple tables of 5-10 and 10-20 HE each, 2-10 stud, and I think some Omaha as well. The 5-10 has a $5 rake plus $1 for the bad beat jackpot. The 2 5-10 tables fill up around noon or so, and you can probably expect an hour's wait or so if you show up in the late afternoon. Game didn't seem too tough, although I only was there for a couple days. I didn't like it much, though. Mostly the smoke got to me, the dealers weren't terribly skilled (friendly, but not very good), and the rest of the staff wasn't very friendly at all. Only game in town, though.

That is all correct to my knowledge. No poker at any of the other 3 casinos in Detroit/Windsor.

You will see things at 5/10 that are absolutely unfathomable. I have found the games to be quite good when I've gone.
