Should I have pushed in preflop or was encouraging calls like this an ok idea? Flop standard?

I can't give advice, but I'd like to chime in with my opinion just to see if the "experts" agree.

1. Im going to push this pre flop.

2. Short of that I've got to check/fold the flop

With t375 in the pot already, I think I'd be happy just taking it down, especially with KK.

Push preflop, stop getting fancy with KK

You mean as opposed to AA? As I played it how did you think the flop was?

You haven't got a choice on the flop, really. That's why you should push preflop.

Yeah, compared to AA. I think the flop was ok, but not really that good. Very likely someone has an ace, but I guess you're pot-committed.

Yes I think your raise was bad. Pushing is the only play I would ever consider here. With t375 in the pot, I'm happy just increasing my stack by almost 50%. fwiw, I'm pushing AA here as well.

its fine the main problem with the hand isnt ur preflop bet its that an ace came on the flop, big deal it happens, id check the flop hope u get a bluff no ace is folding.

There's 375 in the pot when the action gets to you. This is almost half your stack. This is a painfully easy push and IMO a horrible mistake if you do anything other than pushing pre-flop here.

Honestly, words cannot express how much I hate doing anything than pushing pre-flop here. In fact, even if I had aces, I'm pushing pre-flop in this spot.
