I didn't say moving up! (But I meant it). I tend to be overconservative with my money. I moved from 3/6 limit to $10+1 SNGs about 6 weeks ago. I've played 300 so far with averageish success. Around 14/13/12 for 20% ROI. This is pretty insignificant but I guess that's where my problem lies. I think I need to get up to the 33s reasonably quickly to be able to have a chance to match my 3/6 monthly profit. Now I don't want to rush but I don't want to play 500-1000 11s then 500-1000 22s before that. Is there a good game plan I should have? I really don't like moving down, of course I'd do it if I had to. I have around 455 buy-ins for the 11s, 227 for the 22s, and 152 for the 33s so I could play all 3 bankrollwise.

Just asking how much of a learning curve the new levels bring, and what CUES in my game (not results) I should be looking for before I move up. Or is it just prudent to play 500 11s and then 500 22s before trying the 33s? Thanks for your thoughts I know similar things have been covered in the past but they didn't really answer my question.

SNG FAQ v.003 (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=2821605&page=0&view=colla psed&sb=5&o=2&fpart=1)

start there and then ask any questions

I am no expert, but the $20+2 games are usually just as soft as the $10+1 games. IF you can beat $10+1, then I am sure you can beat $20+2.

Play around 200 $20+2s, and if you have a positive ROI (over 15%) then you are safe to move to the $30+3 games. You have a healthy roll to play there.

If you start losing alot at any point (20 buyin drop usually sends out a signal, but could be varience), stop and go down a level until you feeel confident again.

Just play the $20s and grind 500 not less for statistical significance.

I don't know how long you played 3/6 or how successful you were but as long as you were a winning player over a large enogh number of hands I don't think there is any reason for you to not play the 33s. I started at the 33s and never played lower. I had been a winning 3/6 player before playing any SnGs.
