View Full Version : What to do in BB blind defense when SB calls
Still getting used to the idea of blind defenses, so here's a simple question. You're in the BB and the button open raises. He's your average 30% ASB. Won't be ridiculous about it but there's no reason to think he has an incredible hand. The SB calls. Which of the following do you call with?
1. 55
2. A5o
3. A5s
4: 9Jo
5: 9Js

1 - for sure
2,4 - no.
3,5 - tempting, but still a fold.

English please.
I fold the offsuit ace and play the rest.
EDIT: Actually, I fold the suited ace sometimes, too, maybe half the time. Being suited doesn't do much for me in this situation, although it sure does look pretty.
I think all but 2 are pretty easy calls.
