anyone know how to do this? it seems like it would make pokerprophecy much more useful. there are very few players i have a large sample of tournaments against in pokertracker and obviously those stats are flawed since im not getting complete tournament hand histories when i dont come in the top 2.

is there anyway to make a rough approximation, like the average 40% ITM finisher makes x% ROI.

this is more out of curiosity and comparison to my own stats than for any real applicable use, but still, id like to be able to figure it out.

you can't do it. that's part of why the pokerprophecy data is so insanely, absurdly idiotic and useless.

Well that and the fact that the actual ITM data they are selling is consistently high for just about all players. And, of course, its against PP's Terms and Conditions.

ok ok, pokerprophecy suks etc...

But still, would it be so terrible to assume an equal distribution of 1st, 2nds and 3rds?

Thus 40% Itm (assuming 10% rake) = 40*10/33= 120.9 - Roi=20.9%

It wouldn't be terrible.

But what would it be good for?

If they have an ITM of 40% you know their ROI is between -27% and 82%. You might guess 27%.
