I'm pretty sure I 3bet the turn. If I just called his raise, then I slow down at the same time you did.

3-bet turn. If he caps, I'll usually bet the river and call a raise.

Ew.
This looks a little nasty to me. I don't think I would have gone for a check raise on the river. Instead I would have 3-bet the turn and if 4-bet check called the river if unimproved. MP is screaming FH with his raise on the river, but I wouldn't be surprised to see A9.

Although I would 3-bet turn, I wouldn't bet the river if capped. By this point my K9 doesn't look so golden - I would slow it down and not shove in that unnecessary river bet,

You'd be surprised. Guys will cap a flush draw on the turn and check behind the river.

Or they'll cap a 9 with a worse kicker and check behind.

I want at least 1 bet going in on the river, and I'm still pretty sure I'm ahead, so I bet.

I think this is the best way to go. You are losing value any other way IMO.

Alright, that's fine. 3bet it is.

I just wanted to get "sexy" Pokerbob style and completely own his punk ass.

I got 5 bets anyways /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I like 3-betting the turn & leading the river as well.

Does nobody bet the flop in this situation? Do you really want to give a free card to clubs, or something like JT? Or are you that concerned about an A, with 4 others to act?

Betting into 5 other people with a VERY vulnerable mid pair here is dangerous, especially when the overcard is an ace.
