I really pick my spots to post hand, so I would appreciate comments.

Villain is a 18% VPIP, 4% PFR. I'd deen at the table for a few revolutions and he hadn't done anything crazy. Standard 18/4 player, it seems.

$1/$2 - No Limit Hold'em

BB: Villain ($387.95)
SB: $200 something
CO: Hero ($221.10)

Hero: 7 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 7 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

Folds to Hero
Hero calls $2
SB calls $1
Villain (BB) raises to $8
Hero calls $6

(Pot now $18)

*** FLOP ***
5 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 7 /images/graemlins/spade.gif A /images/graemlins/club.gif

Villain bets $12
Hero raises to $30
Villain calls $18

(Pot now $75)

*** TURN ***
4 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif

Villain checks
Hero bets $78
Villain raises to $156
Hero raises to $183.10, and is all in

(Pot $441.20)

*** RIVER ***
J /images/graemlins/heart.gif

(Final Pot $441.20)

I make a bigger flop raise but still get it all in by the turn.

Yeah, The only thing he could beat you with is those pesky rockets, I'd say the play is fine

All looks good to me. If he had AA, that sucks. I like the size of your flop raise. I don't want to lose a weak ace here because he thinks I have a bigger ace. $30 looks just about right to me. More probing than power and that's what I want him to think.

Thanks to all for the comments. Sometimes I think there is a tendency to doubt a play once you look back at it, the ol' "hindsight is 20/20" feeling, so I appreciate the comments.

i like it. im not folding to set over set unless villain turns his hand over and shows me on the turn.

That's funny, and probably a good policy to have.

wouldn't have folded it 3 handed even if this were omaha...

It's not 3-handed, unless the converter messed up, I think he took out the other players ... 4% PFR 3-handed would be a little low, don't you think?

I forgot to show the SB folding to the BB bet. By the time we get to the flop, its just me and Villain.
